Our final location ended up being much farther away from Strongsville than I had hoped but she did not bat an eye at the extra drive and made me so comfortable from the start. “Kristin just recently took my daughter’s newborn photos. She was referred to me by a friend of mine and this was the first time I have had a photo shoot with her and needless to say it was an amazing experience! My husband and I have always worked with friends of ours who are photographers so this was a new experience but Kristin knocked it out of the park!
First and foremost she is absolutely wonderful with newborns. She is very patient (even with our strong willed daughter) and is very good at keeping them calm, which isn’t an easy task. It took close to an hour to get our daughter to fall asleep and swaddle her for pictures but Kristin was very kind and patient. After we were able to finally start shooting I was very impressed with her attention to details. That’s an important trait to have when you are taking photos!
She has a large variety of swaddles, homemade headbands, hats, blankets, and props so I didn’t have to worry about bringing anything or prepping before the shoot. There’s enough to worry about when you have a newborn and toddler at home! Kristin was amazing at having props already picked out before we arrived so they were all set out and ready to go. She was open to suggestions though if you didn’t care for what she picked out.
Her in home studio is adorable and perfect. She adds multiple elements to it for a calming effect. She keeps it at 75 degrees in the studio to keep the newborns comfortable. She also had a white noise machine going and an essential oils diffuser running with lavender in it so it was very calming!
She had a very quick turnaround time on posting sneak peeks from our shoot on Facebook which I know won’t always be the case since it’s dependent on how many jobs she has to edit but I was pleasantly surprised! She also was able to finish editing all of our final images within a couple of days of the shoot. Anyone who has had pictures taken of their children knows how quickly they want the images back. It’s hard waiting so it was awesome!
All of her equipment is top of the line. She has a top notch camera, lighting, props, etc. She doesn’t skimp on the necessities and it shows in the quality of her portraits.
All in all, I would definitely recommend Kristin to any of my friends and family. It’s so important to have a photographer you trust when you are capturing moments in your life. Those moments can’t be recreated so you want to make sure you pick the right person. I definitely think Kristin is one of those photographers that you can trust with your baby’s memories. She is just fantastic!

“The photos of my 3 week old son turned out better than I could have ever hoped for! Kristin was so patient and sweet with him. She soothed and calmed him to get him to sleep for the photos. Her studio is cozy and inviting. She has adorable outfits and props which takes the stress out of what to bring.
